Checking In

VSG on 04/09/12

I have been away for awhile and wanted to check in to say "hi." I was sleeved in April. Eight months later and I am down over 130 pounds. I went from a 24 bottom and 32 top to a size 10. People tell me I am "hot," but that concept is so foreign to me. Someone actually told me yesterday that she wishes she had my legs. Never before has anyone wanted one of my body parts. LOL. Anyway, this process has encouraged my older daughter to get serious about a way of life that she started a year ago. With my help, my now 12 year old daughter has lost 59 pounds (she is a size 4 now). The best part of the VSG, besides someone wanting my legs (hehe), is that I got the strength to help my daughter accomplish her goals. I am so happy to be alive. I feel beautiful - inside and out.

Awe, geez, now see that is so inspirational and encouraging since you also get to help your daughters and show them the way so to speak. So happy for you.
