Question about drinking . . .
My nut's instructions were to drink 4-6 ozs of liquid every hour to ensure that you are getting the full 64 oz of water per day. My problem is that I can drink much more than 4-6ozs in an hour. There will be some hours just based on my schedule that I won't get any. Stupid question, should I stop myself at 4-6ozs because of the sleeve (will it leak)? Or should I just drink what I can without discomfort?
If you can drink, drink!!! Just make sure you are taking small sips, not big swigs and you will be just fine.

I also could drink more but my surgeon specifically told me not to and to stick to no more than 4oz per hour and just drink every hour I'm awake. When I had my day five follow up his PA emphasized this again saying I would move to 5 oz per hour in another few days to a week. She also said most leaks happen days 6-21. Not to scare you, just want to share it is hard and a little frustrating to stick to when it would be easy for me to do 5-6 oz per hour but since my doc has been so adamant I'm trying hard to comply.
