I am 9 months out.. there is no food that I have eaten since the surgery that I have had a problem with. (which is good and bad) I did what my DR said and stayed on liquids..soft foods.. puree etc during the time he asked me to and for the first 4 mnths I ate no starches and barely any veggies. Now I eat everything but I choose to stay very low carb until I meet goal.

Try not to feel like your going to a food funeral .. if your mind is in the right place you will not want to eat certain foods anymore .. its not that you CANT.  Tell yourself not that you CANT eat it anymore .. but more like "I choose not to eat this anymore."

Does wonders for your psyche.

I was under the inpression you could not have certain fast food etc. I figured with you new stomach being so small there would be cetain foods you just could not get down. Dont get me wrong I am not planning on going back to my old ways but I was curious if I was reallly craving something ex. pizza if my new stomach would tolerate it.

You won't be able to eat large amounts over anything - especially dense protein, but you will be able to eat some of anything.  So if you are having a craving for pizza - you can have some.  You may find you really don't want it anymore, or if you have it it doesn't do anything for you.

The only "never again" I was given by my nutritionist was carbonated beverages.  I shall miss my malty, delicious beers.  I shall miss my Diet Dr. Pepper.  But I shall not miss my badonk.
I'm 6 weeks out, have been on solids for a week, and everything's been fine.  I just have to remember to chew, or I get pretty gurgly.
Good luck!
