Anybody else cold?
I usually am quite happy wearing tanks and shorts in summer, want the fan on, and AC extreme. Now, I have on 2 shirts, wear socks, use blankets at night, have turned the AC down, etc. My DH who runs "cold" per the old hot me, is dieing from the heat (in the house).
I don't know whether to be glad I'm saving electricity, or just mark it up as a fluke for now.

This is very common with folks who lose a lot of weight. Mine has improved somewhat now that I'm in maintenance but I'm still much colder natured than I was before I lost the weight.

I had surgery in August, and the day I came home from the hospital, it was quite warm out. I was wrapped in a blanket, on the recliner, and freezing! I do vary more now, but do get cold much easier than I did before surgery. Yesterday, the water in the pool was 86, and the air temp was close to that, and I was getting cold when I wasn't moving around! At least I can put more stuff on to warm up. There's just so much one can take off when they're hot, and still be hot! LOL

Even though i have not had my surgery yet, i have lost 20 pounds and I am seeing a real difference. My hot flashes are not happening as much, and have to sleep under a blanket as well. Have also turned the AC down. Not being on carbs and no sugar has really been the key. Surgery is scheduled for Monday the 9th.
