NSV with a pic - changing styles!

 Today I met with my advisor at school after not seeing him since January.  When I walked in his office he didn't even recognize me - this is a man that I saw weekly last year.  The best part however was when he told me not only did I look so healthy but how much younger I look!  Being almost 40 years old at a university that does not have many non-traditional students has always been something that secretly bothered me!  I am proud of myself for returning to school but when you are 38 years old sitting in a class of 100 students and the other 99 are around 21, it can be a little unnerving.  My style has really began to change since the weight is coming off!  Different hair style (and colors!), some new bold ink, clothes more fitting of your "average college student."  Anyway, like many of you say, I don't normally see in the mirror what others are seeing - I still see the old me. So I came home and snapped this pic today to see what my advisor saw when I walked in. I'm getting there!

 Congrats on your success and no you don't look 38 thats for sure.  I was just having this discussion with my daughter in the car driving back from Starbucks (darn you Shagdoll LOL!) .. people have always told me I don't look my age either (44.)

I love everything about it!  What haircolors?

When I took classes at the local community college and there were older people in there, I always applauded them (in my head of course) for taking college classes. During their introductions, many stated how they havent taken classes in a while and just felt they needed to go back to school. Congrats on your weight loss and continuing your journey to education!!!
