the.stall.has....BROKEN! hallelujah!

It hit me as predicted, and it was a B*! The 3weekpostOp stall from hell. It lasted two weeks and it really gets to you. I must have read every archived forum post on the dreaded 3week stall, for support and comfort. I cried once, thinking I was going to break records being the only fat girl in the world that failed vsg surgery. It was very frustrating and sad. But this morning I weighed in and

6 lbs are gone, baby!

LOL sorry for the overdramatics but it really feels like I've survived purgatory. I am now 5 lbs away from "twoverville", a place I hadnt visited since I was in my early 20's.
Oh, this IS a good day!

Keep the faith - lesson learned :)

 That is AWESOME! I walk around wondering why it has been four days and the scales hasn't moved and I have the same feelings. I also wonder how I am not burning it up when I am only on liquids. I am two weeks post op today and I know that is a little premature to be wiggling out, but I guess we are programmed to think we will fail. That is hard to overcome. Sounds like you and I are about the same weight. I was hoping to be under the threes by Monday. I'm not sure that is realistic at this point so I am just going to celebrate when I DO make it there even if that is two weeks.

I am on "the stall" also. I have not lost a single ounce in a week.Yesterday was my 3 week mark. I was feeling the same way about being the only fat girl that surgery did not work for. I hope by next week to see a difference. Good Luck to you!So happy for you also!!!
