IS THIS A SIGN???

So if it isn't bad enough that my surgery is psotponed another 2 days and another 2 days of liquid diet to deal with, my son broke my mirror this morning.
Now I am not a real superstitious person but is this a sign???
I am so nervous and am starting to doubt my decision to have this done.

Not a sign, but maybe a test to see if you're really committed to the process.  It took me a year to get approval for the surgery, and I felt like I was being tested.  I honestly believe that I appreciated the surgery more because I had to "jump through hoops"...didn't take it for granted.

Good luck!  I'm sure you will be astounded by the results...just in time for the summer.

Yes, absolutely, this is a sign that you are looking for signs.  The truth is that you are scared, and that is only normal.  Do what you know is right for you, develop a positive attitude, put on your warrior face, and go for it.  Fight for what is right for you, the signs will look much better when the attitude shifts. 

You are absolutely correct!!!  I am scared but not of the surgery.
I am scared of being put to sleep and losing control.

Not dumb at all, very normal.  Congratulations, you are human.  The trick to being human and also being successful, is to keep on walking even when you are scared, if you believe you are going in the right direction.  Good luck to you; you can do this!
