low blood pressure

Hi all,

I'm heading to my PCP in 2 hours, but I was curious if this has happened to anyone. Early last week I went for BP check at my PCP, my blood pressure was low so she lowered the dose from 20mg to 10mg of Acupril. Pharmacy said Acupril is on back order so I was switched to 5mg Lisinopril.

I felt really crappy yesterday -- dizzy, tired. Today is worse than yesterday, so I called my PCP to have them check my BP. My nieghbor will take me becasue I'm too dizzy to drive. I'm hoping my PCP will take me off BP meds altogether -- the dose is so low, I don't see why she wouldn't.

I went on BP meds about 7 years ago when  my weight went over 200. I'm at 212 now.

Anyway --  Has this happended to anyone else? Could there be something else going on? I'm thinking it's just the weight loss (do I hear NSV coming :)).

Thanks for your input!!

i was never on meds for bp but had borderline high (130/85).  after surgery (within 3 weeks of surgery) it was running 100/65.  think most of it was due to dehydration because it's perked back up and is 120/74.

good luck!
