EXERCISE?

Okay I am almost 7 weeks out and have been released to exercise for the last week or so.  I have been doing the C25K and walking on the treadmill for a minimum of 30 minutes on my off day.  Should I start weight lifting also?  Can someone give me some guidance please!

My Dr. said weights for arms and legs are fine but no stomach crunches and grunting heavy type weight lifting from stomach until 2-3 months out.

How about boxing?  I can't wait to start doing my heavy weight bag training again.  I also have bought a year membership for a gym that only does boxing.  Should I wait 2-3 months out for that?

I'm going to use the disclaimer "follow your doctor's orders". With that being said, listen to your body. Start off easy and when you see you can do more, do it. Give extra caution to exercise that over exerts the stomach muscles and that region but other than, work out and enjoy!
