Protein drink after taste

Okay, as I prepare for my VSG on 1/9 I have been trying various brands and flavors of protein powder.  I really like the taste of Nectar but found it left a horrible metal-tasting after taste in my mouth.  Has anyone else run into this phenomena?

Nope.

I have three Syntrax Nectar shakes a day, never tasted metalic to me at all.

Your tastes may change after the surgery too, though.
