Just a clarification question on vitamins

I've read a number of posts recently about how many vitamins everyone is taking.

I take 1 multi, 2 Vit D at 1000@ and 1 B12 sub lingual.  No calcium (stopped by my cardiologist and others but it was only 1 pill).   Labs were great 30 days ago. I still have to do 5 other Rx but but I'm just trying to understand the vitamin problem.

What is everyone taking that makes it so cumbersome?

I am pre-op still but my doctor prescribed until surgery:
5 grams of fiber 2x a day (this was bad until I discovered gummies-I was taking 20 pills to get that amount lol)
a multivitamin 2x a day
600mg calcium 2x daily
CoQ10 50mg 2x day
Omega 3 1x day
and I have to take 2 vitamin D supplements daily because I have low vitamin D levels

Damn---girl
No wonder you are struggling with them.

I just didn't know what everyone was taking. Except for my regular Rx's (and they are really so routine after all these years), I've got it easy.

calcium citrate
probiotic
vit d 3X a week

And I have no health problems and everyone is on the same thing as me, unless they didn't have vit d deficiency but all the ppl i have talked to does.

If you take calcium, the daily dosage is 1500, but only 500 at a time separated by 2 hours.  And if you take iron, it has to be taken separately from the calcium by 2 hours.  That's the only real complication.  Everything else can be taken together.  Once you're in a routine, it ain't that tough!

2 multi vitamins
6 calcium citrate chews (1,500 daily)
1 B 12
1 B complex
1 Iron

My multi vitamin was lacking in the B complex and the Iron, so my Nutrionist said to take those separate

I take:
2 calcium citrate with magnesium twice daily
1 b complex daily
1 b12 daily
1 d3 daily
1 mutivitamin daily
1 biotin daily
1 iron at some other point midday
1 colace twice daily (had to restart after a traumatic constipation episode)
1 nexium daily
1 blood pressure pill daily
300mg ursodiol twice daily (for the first six months or so)

And I'm thinking of adding in:
coQ10 capsules
omega 3 fish oil (for mood elevation reasons)

It sounds like a lot, but for me it's ok... I'm used to taking lots of pills, though they all used to be RX for problems... ie: high cholesterol, type II diabetes... so the ones I'm taking now are a pleasure compared to that!
