5 more lbs to go and I get my VSG scheduled!!

I met with my surgeon for the first time today and I was already trying to loose at much weight as I could before seeing him and he told me today that he only requires me to loose 5 more lbs and then he'll schedule me for surgery. I am so excited but nervous at the same time. I can't wait for this life style change. I am very commited! Can't wait to join everyone on the losers bench!

It is worth the wait. My surgery went smooth as silk minimal pain no complications pain gone in 2 days 26 days out feel great and returned to preop activities. Hope your surgery is as smooth.

that sucks that you have to lose a required amount prior to surgery..but yay for being only 5 lbs away!!  It shouldn't take you long now!

YAY I have lost 3 of the 5 pounds I need to loose. By the end of next week I can call the surgeon's office and make me another appointment and get my surgery scheduled! I can't wait.
