nose bleeds?

I had my surgery wednesday and ever since i woke up in recovery my nose has been bleeding, not like a flow or anything but just nastiness when i blow my nose. did this happen to yall? 

Sure did...  I just had surgery Wednesday night and occasionally have bloody snot.  I was told it's normal as long as it's small amounts and tapers off.  Something to do with the anesthesia.  Good luck!

Wonder if you are/were super sensitive to the nasal canula prongs from the oxygen? That is assuming that they switched you over to oxygen after you were intubated?

Could be residual from being intubated.... if you were intubated

Being a nurse those are the only things that come to mind to me? I have not been sleeved. I had the crap band.... I was intubated 5 times in 2010 and did have a nose bleed once....

yep. It stopped after a few more days. Nurse said it was due to oxygen drying out nose.
