Surgery may be happening muuuuuuch sooner!!!!
Oh my gosh what? My insurance said that my surgeon just needs to write that I have had atleast 6 months of failed attempts at weight loss and that will be sufficient instead of making me do a full 6 month diet!!! I'm so shocked! So my evals are June 3 and then we will see if I get approved!!! I need to gain weight to be at a BMI of 40. Also did any of you need to do an exercise eval?? What was it like?
How much do you need to gain? Just wondering... I've known a few that just needed a few lbs, and a few really salty meals did the trick. Once did the ankle weights under the jeans just to get the lbs up to where they needed.. yes it's fraud, but no one checks your ankles and it's healthier than gaining weight! Also, many Drs will help fudge the numbers of your weight if it's within just a few lbs.
This is a good thing! I know you're prob freaked, but this is great!

Eat a really heavy meal right before you weigh in

I was right at the 40 bmi but my weight goes under and up again depending on what I eat.
I went to the surgeons office with boots on, thick jeans, sweater and a sweatshirt over it. I also bought ankle weights AND those suckers did not fit. Nor could I hide them. I was lucky I did not wear them or any weights because my surgeon felt up my ankles, checked my knees, and ab area.
