Wow I can not believe that it has already been 6 months since my surgery, sometimes it feels like it was just a few weeks ago.

I just wanted to stop by and say hi, I have not been on as much lately because I have gotten so busy, you see being out of the wheelchair and off the oxygen has made it so I am not sitting at home all day in front of the computer anymore.

I am down about 120lbs and so very very happy. I am completely off all my diabetes medications and my last A1c was a 5. Wow I am so happy that I made the choice to have this surgery.

My best friend is even going to be having the surgery so I will be staying with her when she goes into the hospital, but she will be joining us on the loser bench soon.

Also today my boyfriend goes in for his consultation to have surgery as well. I am so happy that I have been able to be an inspiration enough for them to want to take the steps to make a healthier life for themselves.

You have done wonderfully. I am 2.5 weeks out and sometimes wonder if I will be that successful. But I keep seeing these stories. So glad you are sharing the love. Hope your friend and bf do well and you continue to do well too. Congrats!!

Thanks, Just keep following your plan it will come to you as well. I can tell you it has been tough at times and it has been easy at times. Just stick to the plan and make sure you get your protein, water and exercise in. I have physical limitations to my exercise, but as my doctor tells me something is better than nothing.
