If I recall correctly, during pandemic, you used to make humongous cookies. Are those the ones you are making?

I'm not a math person (see: yesterdays post) but I'm trying to figure out how to divide 40 lbs of cookie dough across six or so guests... I'm voting yes on humongous cookies!

Good morning, good people! Want to know who isn't good people? Whoever stole my stepdaughters car from where it was parked in Baltimore, went joy-riding around the city, picked up on red light and speed cameras, eventually totaling it and leaving it to be found by police. I woke up to that news this morning. If anyone has any leads on a used car, she's a college student!

Anyway, at least she was not hurt. That is what matters. Onward and upward.

Today is super busy for me. I think I'm 9-6:30 with only one or two breaks. The day will fly by!

Julia I can't imagine walking 19,000 steps and standing on concrete for 5 hours in my Rothy's! They are comfy but not that comfy. Look for Vans slide-ins comfort shoes - I can find them in clearance at DSW for like $40 or $50 and they are pillows! Sooooo good for standing. They might even have kid sizes haha

QOTD: nope not in dc. But in Detroit hell yeah! It's a brick oven buttery deep dish pizza with the sauce on top. Totally different from Chicago deep dish. My favorite chain is Jets and every time I go home I make sure I get it!

The fridge is packed. Today's food will be coffee, rotisserie chicken, goat cheese, mini cakes with greek Yogurt and ranch seasoning, and maybe one small slice of pizza. Ha!

That is horrible about her car! Glad she wasn't in the car when the stole it or anything like that!

we have a Jet's here in Madison! Had it last night, in fact!

I'm so sorry about the car. That's been happening around here, too - everyone screams about how it's because Madison is getting too big too fast and the mayor and police aren't doing enough, but I read enough news to know that it's not just here - it's happening all over. It's just awful. I am so sorry.

That's horrible! Sorry you and her have to deal with that. I hope you can find a replacement car soon.

Sorry to hear about her car, but glad she is safe. I have a few pairs of comfy cush Vans! I love them.

Very happy she wasn't in the car while all this happened. A car can always be fixed.
