It was normal for me.  I was wortied about how little I could eat til about 3 months....then it slowly increased.  I went out with friends the other day and was able to eat four whole chicken wings....small steps.

but, yes, your ability to eat increases.

Yes the swelling from surgery has gone down and you can eat more. You still need to be careful to measure to make sure you are not eating more than your doctor recommends. Measuring and tracking are so important for continued success. I am 31/2 years out and there are days where I feel I could eat more than my one cup of food but I don't. I eat my measured food and stop.

I know I'm not over eating but was worried that I noticed I could eat more.

It's very normal but also extremely important that you weigh and measure now more than ever.  It's very very easy for portion sizes to creep up and stall you out if you aren't careful.  :-)

It will continue to increase over the course of the next year, too. Totally normal. It's one of the reasons you have  to be more careful as time goes by. By six months or so you'll be able to eat enough to start gaining, if you aren't careful.

Yes...so focus on Proteins...real ones, not just shakes and bars, which quite frankly leave me hungry...but real protein, real meat, real beans, real cheese...they fill you up more than shakes and bars do...

Yes! I've seen soooo many people talk about how much they can eat after a while. Until they eat beef or chicken, and a very little can still fill you up.
