My request for surgery was submitted to Florida Blue yesterday! I'm so excited and scared at the same time! Please pray that I get approval quickly as I would like to have surgery the week of Thanksgiving if at all possible.

I'm in the same boat, my insurance was submitted on 10/15/2015. I'm so excited and worried at the same time too... I cant wait to get the approval, this will be a revision for me. I was thinking I would have mine done on or around 11/17/2015.

Best wishes, I hope you don't have a long wait for the Insurance approval. My request was sent in September 30 and I'm still waiting. My surgeon's office said they had called them and it is still being processed I just really want to get that approval and get my surgery scheduled!

My coordinator told me it usually takes 10-14 days. Hopefully it will not be longer than that!

I literally just got off the phone with my surgeon's office and my approval from the insurance company came through this morning. Now just waiting on the scheduler to call me to arrange my surgery date! Happy dance time!!
