how long will you stay in the hospital after gastric bypass surgery
I stayed in the hospital one night. I don't know how long you'll stay, though. Your surgeon could answer that better than I can.
Most surgeons want an EGD done before they schedule surgery.
Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.
Two nights for me, and four was originally planned. The faster you get up and start walking, the quicker they seem to be to let you. I went back after 2 1/2 weeks, but three to four weeks seems to be the norm.
I had mine at Cherokee Northside in Canton. I wish I had gone to Peachtree or Emory. Good luck to you guys!!
