2 Years
Tomorrow will officially be 2 years since I had my surgery and what better way to celebrate then doing my very first triathalon!!! I am 70lbs lighter and living a life I never dreamned possible. I have never made it to my goal weight but I am happy with where I ended up of course i would be happy if I lost a little more but the number on the scale can never define everything I have gained! I truly was given my life back.
I'm glad to hear you're comfortable and happy at your current weight. A triathlon, look at you go! Congratulations!
Surgery: RNY on 12/18/2013 with Jay M. Snow, MD "Don't mistake my kindness for weakness." - Robert Herjavec, quoting Al Capone
Congratulations, and keep up the good work.

Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.
M1 -24; M2 -21; M3 -19; M4 -21; M5 -13; M6 -21; M7 -10; M8 -16; M9 -10; M10 -8; M11 -6; M12 -5.
That's fabulous! Congratulations.
I love to read posts where people reinforce the value of things other than the number on the scale, because that number doesn't determine quality of life (even though most pre-ops and new post-ops don't believe it).
After losing my weight and then finally getting both knees replaced, I am amazed at the things I can do now (even though the second knee is not completely healed yet).

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
