Weight Gain
I have gained 6 pounds in 10 days. I have not changed my eating patterns (was losing about 1 pound a week before) and have started riding my bike 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week. I can't imagine I have truly gained 6 pounds - muscle or fat - in that amount of time. I am so frustrated - any thoughts?
Water.
I have gained that much a number of times just retaining water either because of weather, hormones, sodium intake (you would be surprised where sodium hides in food!) or some combination of those.

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
Could be a combination of all of the above. Plus at 18 months the honeymoon is ending for most of us. Weigh and measure your portions, watch the salt, don't graze.
