Surgery in the Morning
Well the time has come.
I have met all the requirements, insurance has approved it. I have paid my co-pays, and done my blood work. I go today at 2 to get a PICC line and then have to be at the hospital at 5:30am to get prepped and ready for surgery.
My wife had RNY 3 months ago and has done great. I am excited about joining her on this journey.
Thanks for all the support and encouragement from this board. I will see you on the other side.
You do sound all ready. Good for you!
We'll scooch over and make room for you on the Loser's Bench.

Hooray!
Why are you doing a PICC line today vs. tomorrow?
HW333--SW 289--GW of 160 5' 11" woman. I only know the way I know & when you ask for input/advice, you'll get the way I've been successful through my surgeon & nutritionist. Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
