1 Year
Today I am 1 year out. What an incredible year. On 9/30/12 I told my PCP I was ready for the surgery and started the process. I weighed 364 pounds on that day. 433 days later I weigh 166 pounds and I am still losing albeit very, very slowly.
I went from a size 58 waist to a 36 and could wear 34 or 35 if I were buying new pants. I went from a 5x shirt to a M. 22" neck to 15". 60R coat to a 42R.
Most importantly I feel fantastic. I'll go right the first of the year to get my labs done again to be sure, but I feel great.
As I shift more to maintenance I hope I can stay vigilant with my diet. So far so good, but I know the honeymoon is ending.
Those are great results, especially the part about feeling fantastic! Congratulations!

I went to your pictures you look great except for that darn Auburn shirt, ROLL TIDE! LOL. I'm a big guy too and should see the Surgeon next month and then approval for my surgery. Can't wait to be as small as you are now. I will probably go down to 170 to 180 pounds. I'm 5'10 1/2. Keep up the great work! Steve
LOL. Not to rub it in, but a great NSV for me is that I'm going to Pasadena for championship game. I am so looking forward to being able to sit comfortably in my airline seat. Last time I flew I had to book two seats and get a seat belt extension. Can't wait!
Good luck with your journey. Being big is something I would not wish on my worst enemy. That would include Alabama fans. LOL!
