Nevada Amerigroup Medicaid

So I am planning on having gastric bypass and was wondering if anyone has had luck with approvals from amerigroup? I have called amerigroup and they said its approved as long as it's medically necessary. They haven't told me at all that I need a two to three year documented weight loss. Any stories would be helpful.

Sorry, I can't help.  I'm dealing with FL BC/BS.  They told me one thing in person (at a FL BC/BS store), then promptly denied my first 3 pre-op visits.  I'm going back today to have a little chat with them.
