13.5 months out and no weightloss in 6 weeks
I don't know what else to do. I've upped increased my protein, increased my fluid intake decreased and increased my calories, I haven't been able to increase or change exercise routine due to back problems, this week I'm having a major Fibro flare and exercise is out of the picture, I just don't know what else I can do. Any ideas on how to get this weightloss jump started again. I want to lose 20-30 more pounds.
Please help me!

You may just need to ride the stall out.

Please consult your surgeon & nutritionist for how to do it their way. Biggest regret? Not doing this 10 years ago! Every day is better than the day before...and it was a pretty great day!
Missy the closer you get to a normal weight the slower it will be. You may get there and you may not; not that you can't continue to try losing because you should......just focus on good choices and your health. You've done amazingly well.
How tall are you? Oh and what's the latest on needing back surgery?

Thank you for your support. I am 5'3 so I could actually get down to 135 before I'm a "normal BMI". I'm however not focused on the whole normal thing, I just want to be healthy.
As for the back surgery, I see the neurosurgeon on Oct. 17 to go over questions and concerns I have and hear his final recommendations. But it definitely sounds like I need it, just how quickly is my biggest question right now. I really want to lose all the weight I can before I have surgery but then again I think maybe I should do it before I lose my malabsorption phase. It's just so hard to figure this all out. Thank you for asking!

I'm down to a slow crawl myself at a year+ out. I've already had many 6 week periods with no loss. But I figure as long as I keep doing what I'm supposed to be doing and I don't gain, I'm good. Either I'll lose more eventually or I'm done losing. Either way, I've come a long way and I'm happy. I have found that if I give myself a weekend of slightly more calories than normal...say allow myself a 1500 calorie day vs. the 1200 I'm usually at, I can kick up my metabolism a bit when I go back down. But that doesn't always translate to a loss....
