Never thought I'd see it...
good for you:) I can see the excitement of wanting to go look at treadmills, it will make you feel better and lose faster, challenge yourself on it, make it a great thing, DO NOT HANG CLOTHING on it , ever , for any reason, or it becomes habit!! good luck, you are doing great:)

Congrats on your loss so far. :D My husband and I have bought a treadmill and an elliptical. My advice to you is not cheap out. It's tempting when you see how much they cost, but it's really worth it to spend the $$$ and get a good unit. Don't be swayed by features, but look at how well-built the machine is. If you have a used sports equipment store in your area like Play it Again Sports, take a look over there because sometimes you can find equipment that used to be in a professional gym that is super sturdy. Also, I would favor an elliptical over a treadmill. My husband actually injured his knee on our old treadmill (torn meniscus) trying to keep up with it and the elliptical is a lot easier on it.
When you're looking, get up on that bad boy and give it a whirl. If it's not plugged in, ask for it to be plugged in. Don't worry about looking ridiculous and wear shoes that you will wear while on the device. Get up in there and make them work for your business!
Good luck!

I would absolutely encourage you to hit a used equipment place like Play it Again Sports and get the most bang for your buck! Ask around, too, many people have them as expensive towel holders in their homes and are thrilled to find a new home for them and get the space back.
You might be pleasantly surprised at the deals you will find if you look and put the word out!
