Gaining weight

I am two weeks out of surgery today, and for the first week week in a half I wasnt able to eat anything because I so sick and nauseous. I had lost 20lbs during that time, however now that I can eat I've gained 5lbs back. Its really discouraging

Don't be discouraged.  Part of that weight loss was probably due to an empty digestive system.  The food and bacteria in your digestive system DO have weight.    I know for a fact when I am constipated, and take a stool softener, I can poop out 8 lbs!

 

Keep following your surgeons and nut.'s diet. You will be there in no time!

I don't really feel constipated but it has been a couple days since my last bm. I have a somw maylox that my dr perscribed maybe I'll take some. Thanks for the help and words of incouragement

It could also be close to your TOM, you could be retaining water or like the previous post said, you might just need to poop.

Made my TOM is coming expecially since the last one was in June, but I don't usually worry if a miss a month or to since I've been irregular. Thanks for the help

A lot of people I know we're irregular before their surgery, but after became regular or had weird periods. I know I did! I had one for almost a whole month after and then nothing for two weeks and them I got it again and, well, it was super irregular. So who knows!
