Planning my first 5k

My co-workers are doing the one in november. They asked me to do it with them and I had to explain v to them how even when I was a size four I don't run unless c something is chasing me. Lol but I really do want to do a marathon. But I wss telling them that and was saying no way could I do a 26 mile and that's when they told me about the one in November. I've had 13 back surgeries and both knees scraped out for arthritis.
