Day after surgery

I made it thru surgery. Ale to do everything laprascopic. Got ice chips today. Can't tell u how good that tastes. I get my swallow testin the morning then start clear liquids. Other than gas pains I'm really just super sore. I'll stay 3 nights in hospital which is great cuz I have all the help I need. Poor DH is camping on tiny bench bed tho. Tried to get him to go to hotel but he wouldn't. Tired so will update when I can.

Congrats on your surgery! I too had gas pains. They were really the worst pains I DID have.

Glad to hear all went well with your surgery. What helped me with gas pains in addition to walking was peppermint tea. Hope they have it there at the hospital. Good Luck !

Congrats and welcome to the bench. I had complications so hubby stayed with me and slept in a plastic chair. Poor guy! How lucky are we eh? True love.

Yeah Terri! I'm glad to hear that everything went well. I couldn't believe how happy I was to have ice chips. LOL They were the best ice chips I've ever had. Take care.
