So today I had my endoscopy to assure my esophagus wasn't damaged from the acid reflux I have suffered this past year with my lapband. Got a clean bill of health, and the go ahead to proceed with revision surgery next week. So excited, but dang, I forgot how much those intravenous needles hurt going into my hand. Brought back second thoughts whether I want to go forward with the surgery - can you believe it? A little needle gets me all worked up. LOL. Seriously, tho, very excited for this new phase of my life.

Excellent!  You can do this and Best Wishes for a very successful revision.  The benefits far outway the discomfort of the IV's  hang in there : )

I usually ask them to put the IV in my arm, not my hand.  Hurts a lot less.
