Just letting you guys know my RNY surgery is OVER finally. I made it guys and Dr. Said everything went smooth and as planned.I just now am able to sip water.. Not really wanting to but doing it anyways. This morning was my first walk and I cried, and cried this one too.. This pain is unbelievable. The morphine button sucks.. So far not a good experience with pain. As far as nausea & vomiting  there is none. Thank the Lord.

Thank you all for all of your support.

It was everything I could do to stop myself from gulping down tha****er.  I was so thirsty!  Pain stinks but it's brief compared to the rest of your new life.

Im 8 days post op. It will get better day by day. The first 2 days for me were the worst dealing with the gas pain, After that everything was smooth sailing. Walk as much as possibly it helps so much! Message me if you have any questions.

The morphine made me sick, so a nurse gave me Tylenol through my IV. It worked really well for me and didn't make me dopey or sick.

Glad ya made it through!

Glad to hear everything went smoothly! I was surprised by the amount of pain but it gets easier everyday. Just keep takings the meds, stay ahead of pain. Sip and walk. Good luck!
