I survived!

Yup, I sure did.  Had my RNY yesterday and have to say I am doing fairly well!  When I woke up after surgery I was in a ton of pain, but that passed quickly.  I have some mild pain and discomfort now, but nothing horrible. I will post more about the experience later, but for now I can barely keep my eyes open!

That's great to hear! I've read some horror stories on this site and am scared to death

It was no where as bad as I anticipated it to be! 

That is awesome! You are well on your way to fulfilling your goals.  I cannot wait to be there myself - still no surgery date. However, I have hope though not a lot of patience.

It is unreal how you feel when you wake up and then by the time you get to your room get a little pain meds and take a nap when you wake it feels much better.  Had mine last Wednesday and I can tell a HUGE improvement every single day.  Hope all continues to go well for you.  Hugs!!
