Gaviscon chewables? (cross-post)

Just wondering if anyone knows if we can take Gaviscon chewables after RNY surgery?

I am 4.5 months out & suffering! Had 1.5 small pcs of deep fried fish for supper which I had a feeling wouldn't agree with me & I was right - so I definitely know better for next time! Then tried a protein shake to up my protein quota for the day & it just made me feel worse :(

I had planned to ask the NP this exact question at my "3 month" follow up on Monday - which would have been almost 5 months out & has now been postponed for the 2nd time...but that's a whole other can of beans that we won't open at this time...

I am 10 years post and that is all i have ever used,,,,,,,,,,,,,,although i only take one , Denise
