weigh in

So its been 5 days ago since surgery. I got on the scale today and I have lost 7 lbs. Is that a normal lost? I was excited either way, it is a lost not gain. Yaayyy for me !!!!!!!!

Mine was the 13th.  I weighed 235 at the time of surgery and 250 when I left the hospital.  I am now 242.  This just seems wrong!  I know it will go away, but still.

I have an emergency doc appt tomorrow morning as I have developed a bad case of gout up to my ankle and cannot take the med I always used.  We have to find one that will work and be covered by my insurance.  Also, while in the OR they badly bruised my bony butt and it hurts.  My innards were rearranged and they seem fine but by foot and butt sure hurt.

I had to order a mortar & pestle to crush my pills and it will arrive Wednesday.

Lynn im sure its from being swollen and maybe gasy. I took liquid gas meds and I still feel like my gut is full of something. It feels real heavy.

I am so glad you brought this up.  My surgery was 3/8 and after some minor pain issues went back in and was finally discharged on 3/14.  They weighed me that morning and I was 252.  I have weighed myself  the 1st thing every morning since and today (3/18), just  4 days later I weigh 238.   Seriously?  14lbs?  I was worried for like 2.2 seconds and then so excited!  I would say be excited, what the heck ;)  Congrats!

I am beyond excitement!!!!!!!! Lol I am running out of people to tell.
