Protein Shake

I am 3 months out, up to 50g of protein a day, and I am having trouble getting in all my protein. I am thinking of a protein shake blended with protein and sugarfree cookies--is this alright? Can I have sugarfree cookies if they are blended in the shake at this stage?

I don't know about sugarfree cookies, but I CAN tell you that I use Syntrax Nectar Double Stuffed Cookie flavor protein shakes. It has cookie pieces in it. Yummy! I got it at mybariatricpantry.com

What is the purpose behind putting sugarfree cookies in your shake? To mask the taste of the protein? I would just find a protein that you like, or find a healthier way to mask the taste - sugarfree cookies so early out, and blended so that you don't get the enjoyment of actually eating them, screams extra unnecessary calories to me. Unless they have huge protein amounts in them.

Can you handle the sugar alcohols? Sometimes, the sugar free stuff bothers me just as much as sugar. I would try it a day when I did not have to leave the house.

I use choc protein and I pour it into my coffee because I cant stand it any other way,and I love choc and coffee and so I mix them I even make ice coffee with it.
