After the first year, how frequent blood work?

How often should you get bloodwork done once you've passed the first year post-op?

I believe my doctor does it every six months at first and then once a year.

My dr. does every 3 mo the first year then every 6 months the second year.

Depends on your labs.  Best to have them done semi-annual if possible, but at a minimum once per year. 

Many docs recommend once a year.  I prefer to get mine done every six months.

I get a full set of labs done once a year and get ones that I have had trouble with in the past done every 6 months.

My doctor does once a year but because he has noticed that I fall behind in Iron, Vit A, and Vit D I go every six months. He has added additional vitamins to the normal routine to try and get me on point.
