Day before surgery...

It's the day before my surgery and I woke up puking. PLEASE let this just be nerves!! I just took some Phenergan so I hope it works fast...I have my 19 month old daycare kid today too. Going to be a really early naptime today.

Even if it is a stomach bug, they are usually gone in 24 hours.  You'll most likely be fine tomorrow.  Congratulations and good luck!!!

Sounds like just nerves to me. Maybe some calming tea will help calm them. it may also sooth the upset stomach if it is a stomach bug.

Thanks everyone. I took a short nap and still feel icky. Phenergan isn't helping much but I only took a 1/2 pill so I am going to take the rest now. Tummy is a littl3 upset too but I have IBS so it's prob the nerves causing it to flare up.

Good luck on your surgery tomorrow and I hope you feel better soon! My surgery is 7 day's from today and I am starting to get nervous!!!

Thanks. I am feeling much better now. I found some Gatorade in the cabinet (not on plan but only drank about 4 oz) which helped settle my tummy. I finally drank a shake this afternoon. I'm going to try for another in a bit, then head to bed. I have to be at the hospital at 7:30 and it's about a 45 min drive, so early alarm time.

Hope all went well today with your surgery.
