At two weeks out, you probably cannot significantly "over do" walking. If you do a bit too much one day, you might find that you are fatigued the next day, but you won't do any kind of permanent damage by walking too much (and yoiur body will probably let you know when you ahve had enough!). Be sure not to do anything that stresses your abdominal muscles, though, until you receive clearance from your surgeon (usually 4 weeks out, or 6-8 weeks if the procedure was open instead of lap) because that could result in physical damage (hernia).

You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.
I used my treadmill starting 2 days after surgery. I only walked pretty slowly (3MPH) and did it in small 10 minute blocks. That allowed me to watch TV while walking and keep up a steady pace rather than wandering aimlessly around my house and yard.
Now at 7 weeks out I do 5 miles a day. Thank you FitBit! I tend to be competitive and OCD so having my FitBit has pushed me further than I would normally go.
My doctor had me walking the following day. I was on the track right after I was released. I took it easy at first but at 2 1/2 weeks I began taking Zumba classes 3 days a week plus I walk everyday. I am start today weights training. It so exciting to see how you can transform yourself in such a short amount of time. Start slowly and work yourself up.
