Feeling strange

Before surgery I weighed 217 lbs., I now weigh 198.  I feel strange, lightheaded or funny feeling and can not describe it any other way.  Is this normal?  My surgeon said that my body is going through changes right now and I will feel different until everything is in equilibrium but is this the different he was referring to?

When was your surgery? For some people it takes a while for the effects of anesthesia to get out of your system. If you are further out, are you getting enough fluids?

Everyone is different and your description is very vague! Call your docs office on Monday and ask them. I hope you are feeling better soon. 

I'm 3 wks. out.  I think I will call my general docs office tomorrow and ask if they can run labs on me.

Are you getting plenty of fluids? protein? Vitamins and B-12?, Calcium?

Thanks for the post.  In the hospital my Potassium and Magnesium was low.  I wonder if it's low again???  

I have had the same response on and KGB and my MD says it will pass once I am getting more regular foods.

What's KGB????
