Well, it has taken nearly two years, but I finally hit 100 pounds lost on my ticker. :)  And on a PMS day. Cool!

I don't even care if I lose that last pound. I feel awesome.

It has been a great couple of years, and I feel like I'm 10 years younger now. I can run marathons! (I ran one last January to celebrate my 1-year surgiversary, and I'm training for marathon #2.)  Holy cow, I never would have believed I could do that 10 years ago. And my eating feels "normal" now. I can pretty much eat what I want, but dumping syndrome and my much reduced stomach capacity keep me in check when it comes to portion sizes and carbs/grease. My biggest problem is remembering that I still have to take my vitamins.

If you're struggling with the early stages of RNY, I just want you to know, if you follow your doc's plan and stay as active as possible (I know running isn't for everyone), it will be soooo worth it.
