Morning RNY FAMILY, 1st i would like to Congratulate each/evry1 of u on a Job (@Getting Healthy) Well DONE!!!! I have a dilemma and i dont think of it as a setback but a mile (slight) stumbling block. I have weighed in at 303 for bout the last month (it has become frustrating) but, at the same time i am not really at liberty to complain b/c i have been slacking (do to other reasons n the fitness area). But, this is not my concern (or problem). I wanted to know what exactly can i do to get my body back into losing mode (out of this stall). If you have any suggestions or advice all is welcome. #Looking4HELP :???
I am 6 months out and my weightloss has gone from rapid to painfuly painfully slow if anything.
I have had 2 confirmed UTI and I think I have one now as well. But both my surgeon and my PCP want me to see a Urologist. It cost extra on my insurance to see a specialist and since we just got my wife out of the hospital we are B R O K E.
I have some arthritic problems with my knees too.
1. Be sure to exercise portion control.
2. Be sure to make time to exercise each day
3. If the scale is driving you nuts only weigh in once a week.
4. If no imporovement after a month talk to your surgeon/PCP.

I am so sorry to hear about ur unfortunate cir****tances (praying for ur family). I really do want to thank you for taking the time and giving me this knowledgable information. I will make sure to do so throught-out the rest of my journey. But, if you dont mind me asking u how do u manage ue portion control (i am thinking about purchasing a baby 1st step eating set...lol).
UTI: My 91 year old mother has a loooooong history of UTI's. Bladder infections and to the urologist like a yoyo and always on some antibiotic. Not good for you. Her back hurts - even fevers. Her mom ( my grandmother) also had chronic problems. Last time the urologist told her to get ELLURA. It is a cranberry pill and it is supposed to flush out all the bad. Drink lots of water but you do that anyway. I am not sure it will cure an infection in progress but she has not had one since taking it starting months ago. One of her neighbors takes it and swears by it. Dr. Stephen Lapin in Houston working out of Methodist Hospital, officing in Scurlock Tower at Texas Medical Center put her on it. Google him. It is OTC at only 2 pharmacies in Houston otherwise order online. Ellura.com. Houston is so big they distribute here a little. Both pharmacies are near the Med. Center. It has really worked for her. She id diabetic too. The pharmacist ssid he had never known it to fail. Just a thought

I had my Rny about 3 weeks before you and although I haven't had a total stall, it has slowed right down to about 4 pounds in last month... I think this must be a common time for stalls. I still measure everything, and enter everything I eat into my lose it app to keep me accountable. I am going to try being more active in the day, and see if that gets things moving again... Good luck to you and to our scales moving again!
