Which pill organizers do you all use?  I've been looking at sites and was just wondering because some of our pills are pretty big....like the chewable calcium.  I really like the ones with 4 compartments each day, but I'm not sure all the pills will fit.  Any suggestions?

I compromised and chose one with the four slots per day -- but my calcium doesn't go in there.  I think I bought mine at Walmart.

I have the one with four compartments each day, but I've always liked cutesy stuff, so I use different pill boxes for each vitamin and I carry it in my lunch bag. That way I dont get them confused.

I use these.  Get them at amazon.  I have 12 of them now, and fill them all at once so I can just grab and go the next day.

Thank you for posting the picture, it's very helpful. Your daily Rx routine looks most similar to mine, especially what appears to be 5 Calcium doses each day. Do you mind listing your daily routine? I take Synthroid, which cannot be taken with Iron. Since Calcium also cannot be taken with Iron, I pretty much take a dose of something every 2.5 hours from 7am until 10pm and it's a real pain. If I am late or miss a dose, I cannot get all of my Calcium in. Thanks for your help; I am going to look for these pill boxes at Amazon. I currently use the small plastic pouches, 2 per day. One holds all pills except Calcium and the other holds Calcium. I fill them once a month.

With the number of pills you need daily (supplements + scripts), I'd be leery of purchasing these online.  Online photos may be deceiving of actual size.  I found the 4 compartment, 7 pill container that fit into a holder at my local Kaiser insurance pharmacy.  This way, I had a better visualization whether my daily pill regimine would fit into the compartments.  Each daily segment can be taken with you if you have to go out of town for a few days.  DAVE

I bought this one:  http://images.amazon.com/images/G/01/richmedia/images/cover.gif .  They have this kind at other places, too.  I want to say I saw them at GNC as well.

It's big enough to hold the chewable calcium and my chewable multivitamins along with my other vitamins and meds.  I do transfer my vitamins into a little pill pod with an AM end and a PM end to take to work with me.  I don't want to carry the big thing around!

I purchased mine from Walgreens for about $10. It has 7 days with 4 time sections that snap on a tray. I can remove one (or more) compartments and take with me. Since I take 23 pills a day, I cannot get them all in, so after I take my morning meds, I put the last 3 pills in that spot.

i have the same one (or very similar). My pills actually do all fit inside, I just need to make sure I put them in a very specific way to get the lids to stay closed lol

I got mine at MICHAEL'S arts and crafts store. It has 14 compartments and they are big enough for all of our meds we need.  I fill one side with am and the other with pm.  Also, the Conainer Store has a ton of choices, too.  It is so definitely worth getting one and filling it up just once a week or so, saves so much time each day.  KAREN
Thank God for the wonderful gift of WLS.  Use it wisely as the tool it is meant to be and hold yourself accountable for the rest of the journey!!!
