So you lost more than one pound per day and you feel like that's not enough? Who have you read lost 25 pounds in two weeks? I sure haven't seen that often! It sounds like maybe your expectations are not very realistic.
Please note: I AM NOT A DOCTOR. If you want medical advice, talk to your doctor. Whatever I post, there is probably some surgeon or other health care provider somewhere that disagrees with me. If you want to know what your surgeon thinks, then ask him or her. Check out my blog.

If a person weighed 400+ pounds and you were 200+ pounds who do you think would lose the most weight the first week? Please do not compaire your weight loss to anyone else. There are way too many things that go into that. Age is another one. We older folks with the life style we have is not the same as someone going to work everyday. You are doing just great. OH, and stay off the scale. Just weigh no more than once a week, it will drive you crazy if you do.

I have my surgery on the 20th but, my doctors and all the papers/booklets I've recived all say do not compare your weight loss with other people's. You've only walked a small part in a long journey you still have a long way to go so please don't get discouraged. You can do it!
