possible stricture?????

when i eat solid food or drink water it hurts my pouch and i can feel it in my back as well.  But if i eat yogurt it doesnt seem to bother me at all.  Could this be a possible stricture???  Im thinking that may be why i am having the stomach / back pain.  Going to the dr on the 8th of August but may call to let them know this info ..  if it is a stricture..i know they go down and dilate it with a balloon but is that done in the office or hospital??

I guess it could be possible. I have heard that it is less common after 3 months post op. Do you still have a gallbladder? I know when I used to have gallbladder issues before surgery the pains would radiate to my back. I had mine out with my RNY.

i do still have my gallbladder...so maybe that could be it.. i guess i will find out at my appointment next week but in the mean time i am going to call the Dr tomorrow and maybe they will get me in this week..hopefully

Yeah it is quite possible. Also, before my surgery when I would have gallbladder pains they were right in the same area as out pouch is now. Good luck. Hope you get it figured out soon.
