Vitamix users?

Hi there!

I'm thinking of investing in a Vitamix. Was/Is it useful during the initial post op phases?

 Oooo! I wish! My husband and I keep putting off our Vitamix investment, but hopefully after surgery. My daughter loves the smoothies you can make with them. 

As for post-op, I just have a food processor, a regular blender and a stick blender. I use the stick blender all the time for shakes, soups, etc. now, so the Vitamix would be that guilty pleasure purchase. 

I don't have a vitamix - i have a blendtec and i LOVE my high speed blender. i use it 3 or 4 times a day for my family. best investment ever.

I have a Blendtech also and I LOVE it. You can't go wrong with either one.
