I had mine today. Bssically it was alot of question my nurse went over what to expect and reinforced the 2 week diet. ( hate it hate it hate it) I had to have another blood test for my diabetes but that was the only test I had to have. As i said it was just alot of info. Oh i got my prescriptions to have filled so I had them. Just think the next time you have a dr.s appointment the surgery will be over!!!

I saw the surgeon and he reviewed the operation and also ask me if i was aware of the complicatons that can occur. Plus I had an EKG, chest xray and also blood work. Plus i spoke with the admissions department to confirm financial clearance. It did take a little while but it's all worth it!

I had mine last week. The doctor one was a breeze other than having to wait a while. The hospital one involved going over all the risks of surgery and having blood drawn and confirming all the registration info. Good luck!
