discouraged
At 8 weeks out you should not be in a stall. You barely are out of liquids and purees. If you have not started exercising, I suggest you start. Couch 2 5K is a great program.

Are you getting in 65 or more grams of protein everyday? Not enough food can cause a stall as well. Look at what you are eating and drinking, and make sure you are getting in all of the right stuff.
Also, how much have you lost since surgery? Ig you had a big loss on the pre op diet, and significant loss in the first 4 weeks your body can be adjusting. Filling up the fat cells with water as a place holder, and then when the body feels confident regular nutrition is still coming, poof a 7 pound loss in one day as it releases all of the water.
Good luck

I'm 1mth post op and have only loss 20lbs while the others in my class are at about 30lbs. I'm disappointed but not discouraged yet. I'm still a newbie so I don't know how long stalls last or when they start. I'm just trying to stay positive which for me means staying off the scale. Instead I plan to focus on little things like my clothes although the same clothes I wore pre-op fitting more comfortably.
Hopefully, you'll start losing again soon!
