Noisey Tummy

Does anyone elses tummy make weird noises while they are eating since WLS?

Mine is quite loud! potentially embarassing

Your digestion tract has been altered, and yes, different noises can be there. Sometimes I get them in the middle of the night. One time, about  months post op, I'd eaten my evening meal and then went to a support group. I was sitting at a table with other women. My abdomen began making noise. Lady next to me said "boy you must be hungry".  So, my apetite had been satisfied, yet I had these noise.  My abdominal noises vary, but are normally pretty quiet. But not every patient is identical. I feel like the gurgle machine

 My stomach was so loud at first. It has quited down some, but still can be pretty noisey from time to time. 

OMG, my stomach is loud enough to wake the dead!  My family laughs at mine they can hear it across my dads living room.  It is normal, some of us just have noisier ones than most.  It comforts me actually, kind of like letting me know that the thing is working!

LOL you are so not alone. My biggest thing is when I am around people and it happens. My MIL the other day was standing next to me and it happoened and she asked me if I had an angry bulldog on me somewhere. AHHHHH the growling pouch.

I am starting back to work next month and I know darn well that my kiddos are gunna have something to say about it. I will just tell them I ate a troll over the summer and he is growling to get out. Matter of fact that is what I named my pouch- Max the Troll. (Yes it has a male name but I also have a gf who's name is max- short for Maxine)
