I just did two things I haven't done since my freshman year of high school:

1. I ran a whole mile without stopping

2. I did it in under 10 minutes

WOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!!

I just did two things I haven''t done since, well ever:

1. I spent a whole lot of time trying to figure out what your post title meant

2. I didn't do it in under 10 minutes, but I finally got it, NSV

On a serious note, WAY TO GO!!! That is an amazing accomplishment.  I'm only  a couple of months out, but I was telling my wife the other day that I'd like to run eventually if my body allows it.  Keep up the great work!!

Thanks Jim!!!

I'm not quite sure why I went with the phonetic NSV, but I'm a weirdo and feeling goofy after accomplishing such an exciting goal for me!

I'm sure you'll be running in no time! Just take it slow, I've hurt myself getting overzealous with my exercising. It's just hard not to push yourself when it's so exciting to see how much easier it is to move now!

Thanks for the advice !! I'm early out, so I've just been walking a couple of miles a day, but when I'm ready to run, I'll make sure to take it very easy.

How awesome!!  Congrats!!

I absolutely can't wait till I can run...its something I'd love to do.  I've been walking but with the current weight and heat -- it's hard to do.  After surgery (and after healing), it's a goal of mine to be able to run a mile without getting winded!  Thank you so much for sharing your EN ESS VEEEEE!

Way to go!! That's awesome!

I have done a bit of walk/jogging this past, but haven't found myself hit with the running bug unfortunately. I envy folks who do it and like it. My one remaining goal from my first year is to work up to jogging an entire 5K, hopefully sometime this year. As soon as I do, I may hang up my running shoes forever! (Thankfully, I've found lots of other active pursuits I enjoy.)

Keep on truckin'!
