fiber?

I am new here.  Had lap RNY June 20th and have a question about fiber.  My surgeon recommends Citrucel twice daily but it makes me gag.  Has anyone tried Benefiber and, if so, do you know the difference between them? 

I just started using Benefiber, and while I don't yet know if it's going to help me, I do like it. The powder easily and completely disolves and I can't taste it.

 I was using Benefiber but it stopped working for some reason. I tried psyllium seed husk last night and the end results were great.

I use the generic benefiber and have had no issues with it.  It is oderless, tasteless and textureless.  I put it in my morning decaf protein coffee.  Works for me.

I won't lie - I HATE, HATE, HATE Citrucel. I'm willing to chew the Benefiber tablets and use the Splenda with 1g of fiber per packet in teas and such. For me the strawberry Benefiber is tolerable.

Citrucel, blech! I've tried a couple of chewables, blech.. I have found Vitafusion Fiber Gummies... Awesome. Taste like candy. 5g of fiber per gummy, I eat 3 morning and night. I was having major constipation issues and since I started taking them, no problemo!! I will deal with the carbs (5 per), in order to get them down with out gagging.

Thanks everyone!  I will be so glad to not have to choke down the Citrucel.  I will buy some Benefiber tomorrow.

I'm using the benefiber single packets. It really has no taste and no grit.

 I've been drinking Crystal Light's Hunger Satisfaction which has some protein and fiber in it.  It is not non caloric but it's not too bad.
